Clinical Trials

Clinical studies, sometimes also called clinical trials, involve research participants taking an investigational drug or a placebo, undergoing study procedures, or using new investigational medical devices. Everything will be under medical supervision and other professionals.

The term “research” means that the drug, process, treatment or device has not been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as safe or effective.

When a clinical research study meets its goals,
it can create a new standard of care for people
with Alzheimer’s or any other disease or medical condition.
